HealthLoom Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of HealthLoom, the Android app and server published by Loominate ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using HealthLoom, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use it. Questions: [email protected].

What HealthLoom is

HealthLoom is an Android app plus a server. The app reads health data from Android Health Connect on your phone, syncs it to your private encrypted vault, and lets the AI assistants you choose read it so they can answer questions about your sleep, activity, recovery and more. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. HealthLoom is not intended for children.

Your account and recovery key

Give us accurate sign-in details and keep your account to yourself.
Keep your password and your recovery key safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your stored health data is encrypted with a key that only your phone and the AI apps you approve can unlock. If you lose your phone and your recovery key, we cannot recover that data for you.

Connecting AI apps

You approve every AI app on your phone, and you can disconnect any of them in the app at any time. Once connected, an AI app can request your data, and what it requests is sent to that provider. AI apps are run by other companies and are covered by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours. What they do with the answers, and with your conversations, is up to them. Only connect apps you trust.

Not medical advice

HealthLoom is a wellness and information tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. AI assistants can make mistakes, and data from your devices can be incomplete or wrong. Talk to a qualified health professional before making decisions about your health. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. Don't wait for an app.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

use HealthLoom to break the law or harm others;
try to access anyone else's account or data;
reverse engineer, scrape or attack the service, or try to get around its security or encryption;
overload the service or use it in a way that degrades it for other people.

We may suspend access if someone does, to protect the service and its users.

Your data stays yours

Your health data and anything you add belongs to you. You give us only the permission we need to operate the service for you: to store, process and share it with the AI apps you approve, as set out in the Privacy Policy. We don't sell it and we don't use your health data to train AI models.

Availability and changes

HealthLoom is software that is still being tested and improved. We provide it "as is" and "as available". We may change, limit or stop features, and the service may be interrupted or contain bugs. Please don't rely on it as your only copy of important data; your source data stays in Health Connect on your phone.

Disclaimer and limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties about HealthLoom, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, or for anything an AI app or other third party does or says. Our total liability to you for any claim related to HealthLoom is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, and it does not affect any consumer rights you have that cannot be waived.

Ending your account

You can stop using HealthLoom and delete your account at any time. See Delete your HealthLoom account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we close the service we will give you notice where we reasonably can.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Loominate is established, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using HealthLoom after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
